    RUN WHILE YOU CAN! John & Kate, MJ, Palin — what’s next? The blabberbots have a hayday every time a big figure does anything. It’s ridiculous. Has Twitter turned into a gossip rag?

    That’s a good question. The nature of breaking news is that if it bleeds, it leads. And Twitter pretty much freaks out over everything. Plus, it’s good to be able to wink at things like this. Which is what I think headlines like this do. :D

    Yeah. Remember, hoi polloi: it’s you “Twitter” that “freak out” by tweeting about a story once or twice; meanwhile, Short Form Blog calmly sits back and, from above it all in Washington D.C., writes three tiny posts about it.
