  • 73-year-old San Fran­cisco widow Mar­ion Cope • Who was mauled by a pack of unleashed dogs who were attack­ing the dog she was walk­ing. A dog bit her calf, leav­ing a 10-inch wound which will require plas­tic surgery to repair. The irony? Her fam­ily, which also owned a swanky hotel in the city, gave the park to San Fran­cisco nearly 100 years ago. That bites. source
