  • 30,000 houses in Lee County, Florida are about to get foreclosed on; it’s one of the hardest-hit areas in the country
  • 1,000 number of foreclosure cases a Fort Meyers courtroom hears on some days; they get through them in seconds sometimes source

“My husband passed away and the debt just kept getting higher and higher,” Casey McNeer said. “[My bank] told me my best option was to refinance, but they wouldn’t do it.”

But there is a reality to this process, and even some silver lining, he noted…
”…If you talk to the plaintiff’s attorneys, they would say, ‘Well look, some of the people are complaining, but actually they’ve been able to continue living in the house, without paying a mortgage, for a year,’” Judge Hugh Starnes a (reactivated from retirement) retired judge in Lee County Florida, told CNN.

Yeah…after completely destroying their years’ worth of hard-earned credit (their credit rating), and completely wiping out all of their Equity! Yeah, CNN, that sure sounds like some deal…for the BANKS, maybe! Where the bloodthirsty executives take home Millions of dollars per year, plus their Million-dollar bonuses, plus their multi-million dollar compensation packages, plus their Multi-Million dollar golden parachute Pension packages!! They’re laughing all-the-way to the bank meanwhile people are losing their homes left and right…how can you say that is in ANY way GOOD ???!????!!
