U.S.: Enjoy your freedom: You could’ve been in this prison riot

  • 80 officers responded to the prison riot at the medium-security facility in Chino, Calif. last night; order has been restored
  • 40 inmates were sent to hospitals, and four had to be airlifted; a fire broke out in the middle of the riot, making things worse source

Why are we airlifting these guys anywhere? If they are angry about something there, don’t do the crime. My brother is a DA, let them kill each other. Give them all spoons and a box of bandaids and let them have at each other. NO MEDICAL TREATMENT AT ALL! They do this for a while and the prison population will go down, I promise you. And repeat offenders will be near Zero.

    How cruel of you.

  • paxildog

thank you. now i know that this is the right idea for sure.

Convicted criminals are human beings too. They aren’t dogs.

The Paxil is obviously not working for you. I venture to say that some of the injured were innocent people convicted by over zealous DA’s making a name for themselves. Plus some were probably first time drug users who should not be in prison. Not everyone in prison is a violent crime perpetrator.

What you fail to realize is that everyone has to try very hard to get into a state prison. This is not the regular county lockup. The non violent prisoners stayed in their cells and were not hurt. Even in criminals there is a code of ethics. Hard to believe huh? Gang members in prison tried very hard to get there. Independent criminals have tried very hard to get there. Anyone convicted in the last twenty years tried very hard to get to a state prison. Over zealous DA’s always take the plea bargain because they get brownie points for not overcrowding and streamlining the judicial system. The next thing you all will tell me is that you wouldn’t mind these people in your neighborhood and in the same park near your kids school. If you tell me yes, you need the paxil. The screen name is my dogs name and she was loved by everyone and very soothing for people to be around. Good luck in your dillusional lives and I wish you the very best when someone mugs you and you are screeming about victims rights, not the perps.

Paxildog try some middle ground here. You have jumped to the conclusion that I am soft on hard core criminals. I am heavily armed and well trained and would not hesitate to kill if my life was in put in danger by an intruder. So it is your position that no one in jail is innocent and if so how do you explain the on going revelations of wrongful convictions that DNA testing is exposing? I disagree with your position to let people suffer or put them in a caged fight to kill themselves off. We have too many people in jail in California for BS charges like possession. The three strikes law is a disaster that you and I are paying for. As to the gang members that is a more complex issue and we are probably more in agreement than disagreement on the law enforcement strategy here. We must never let ourselves become as heartless as the hardcore violent criminals or we lose our moral high ground.

Old convictions, most over twenty years ago. Those people should be out. Like I said though, last twenty years have pretty airtight convictions that are overturned not due to guilt, but by technicality. Good for you being able to protect you and yours, but what about the mass of nut jobs that don’t believe in guns, violence, etc.. to protect themselves? What I am telling you comes from the Sheriffs and public defenders that deal with these people every day. Sorry, just the facts. Just so you know, the DA’s want truth only, not Marsha Clark, tenth round pick for the OJ case, trying to get one last party in Long Beach at taxpayer expense. Those times have been cleared out of the system and the new system prevents them from screwing around. BTW — most non violent crimals get other prisons than the state run for their time. Ask Mr. Madoff how tough it is for him. Other lower level crimals get work camps and local facilities. Take care.

Criminals are human beings too??? How many chances are they going to get? They made a choice to commit a crime, how many DUI’s can you get? Murder? Rapes? You cannot rehabilitate someone that does not want the help, they need to make that choice for themselves. We make choices every day, there’s rules, period! You don’t follow them like the rest of society then you belong in cage! Air drop all those bastards in Iraq and Afghanistan and get the real heroes out.
