Is Google Dashboard, which shows you all of the private data you're sharing with Google, a good idea?(opinion)

Google has a lot of data streams on you and just about everyone else. It’s a huge responsibility of theirs to keep all that information safe. So, to help build transparency in the system, the site just launched Google Dashboard. Is it a good idea? Vote about it here. source

This was actually useful to me. I lost my iPhone and I’m pretty sure it is broken. I just checked my dashboard. It shows I have 2 iPhones synced to my account (including the replacement I just got). And the last one hasn’t synced since the day I lost it. So somewhere my old iPhone is laying around broken. I guess it’s some kind of closure.
