  • $1.8B the amount Priceline will pay for Kayak.com, which is a lot of money for a kayak that doesn’t even float. The William Shatner-backed company will buy the travel-comparison site, which processes 100 million searches per day, for the equivalent of $40 per share. Kayak went public back in July. source
