Defense Distributed has come out with a new gun magazine, which they kindly named after New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who just signed a ban on large gun magazines in the state. “He [Cuomo] wants to be associated with these magazines,” Cody Wilson, the 24-year-old law student leading the group’s efforts, told TPM. “Lets make that association permanent.”
Talking Points Memo is back up, meaning that their Anonymous gallery is as well. The Daily What has the photos as well, and one of the people listed, Mercedes Haefer, has a legal defense fund (the site’s shown above), which argues that she “has been singled out and the voracity of the attack on her by the government does not match the alleged crimes for which they are seeking prosecution.”

» We say: Interesting to note (and we suggest you all read the link), but one point worth pointing out – and this is something The Capital Times, which TPM quoted, has wrong.The issue here is not $140 million in new spending for special-interest groups, but rather lower revenues from three credit-and-deduction-based initiatives. So yes, these do mean the state has lower revenues, but it’s not because of special-interest spending. (Oh, and read the document directly – it’s informative.)
