  • 60+ killed last night in a stampede in Abidjan, which took place outside of a football stadium after a fireworks display. Another 200 or more were injured in the incident, which mostly affected children and teenagers. ”I don’t know what happened but I found myself lying on the ground with people stepping on me, pulling my hair or tearing my clothes,” said one woman, who gave her name as Zeinab, regarding the stampede. source

People were stuck on the bridge, they could not move, so they pushed others into the water. I was stuck on the bridge for five hours and I could not move.
