Democratic Rep. Keith Ellison was on “Hannity” tonight, and man, was it the best talking-heads-yelling-at-each-other session we’ve seen in a long time. Ellison called Hannity “the worst excuse for a journalist I’ve ever seen.” Hannity called Ellison “a total waste of time.” And Hannity finally kicked Ellison off. High quality bad TV right here, folks.
I spoke about what I believed and I think that there was a period of time when the Romney campaign was falling apart, people were not optimistic, nobody thought there was a chance of victory and I felt that it was my duty at that point to go out and say what I said. And at the time that I said it, I believe I was right.Fox News analyst Dick Morris • Speaking to Fox News host Sean Hannity last night, on the matter of his woefully optimistic pre-election prediction that Mitt Romney would defeat President Obama in a landslide, with 325 electoral votes. Of note, right there in his explanation, an overt admission that he felt obliged to promote the idea of a Romney landslide (which was profoundly statistically unlikely) out of a sense of “duty.” He’s essentially admitting he’s more activist than pollster, which is fine — so long as your job description accurately reflects that. Otherwise, as an analyst, you’re doing anything but. source
FOX: George Zimmerman breaks his silence on Trayvon Martin case
Worth noting that Zimmerman and Hannity had a prior relationship — while with his original lawyers, Zimmerman talked directly to the Fox News host, even though he wasn’t authorized to.
As you may have already heard (we covered this earlier today, in particular CNN’s ugly camera work), the legal representation for George ZImmerman cut ties with their former client earlier today, saying he’d begun acting on his own without their input, contacting Fox News’ Sean Hannity for an off-the-record conversation serving as a prime example. Hannity confirmed tonight that he did speak to Zimmerman, but as it was indeed off-the-record, we won’t be hearing about it.

If they have an enemies list and they collaborate with the White House, does it mean the White House may have an enemies list? By the way, my name was on the list. Shocking.Sean Hannity • Freaking out over the just-uncovered revelation that Media Matters allegedly has an enemies list, and he’s on it. The Daily Caller’s massive multi-part expose on the liberal organization seems to have uncovered a ton of dirt, including an internal memo that included this line: “We must take Fox News head-on in a well funded, presidential-style campaign to discredit and embarrass the network, making it illegitimate in the eyes of news consumers.” It appears that The Daily Caller did their homework with this one. One major quibble however: Tucker Carlson, a current Fox News contributor, runs The Daily Caller, and wrote some of the stories. That is a huge conflict of interest. Should Tucker have taken himself off this story? (ht imwithkanye)
On Hannity, Mark Foley Says It Should Be Legal For Adults To Talk Dirty To Minors Online
Not the best career move, Mark. Oh boy.
If this was somebody who used the same type of rhetoric about violence against President Obama I would be against it… . This is inappropriate for a President and he goes back to his radical roots again and again and again. Ayers, Wright, Pfleger.Sean Hannity • Saying a bunch of stupid crap about how Common (a pro-Obama rapper) is a bad influence and shouldn’t visit the White House and stuff. We don’t have much to add to this, other than this: SHUT UP YOU AREN’T A RAP FAN AND YOU PROBABLY DIDN’T KNOW WHO THIS GUY WAS UNTIL YOU WERE HANDED A CUE CARD WITH HIS NAME ON IT BEFORE THE SEGMENT. Also, you can’t criticize Common’s poetic license until you take back this approval of Ted Nugent’s non-poetic license, brah. source (via • follow)
