Hackers Discover Government Employees Watch Porn
A group of hackers calling themselves Th3 Consortium and claiming to be affiliated with Anonymous and LulzSec broke into yet DigitalPlaground.com, the third porn site it’s hacked in as many weeks, stealing 72,000 passwords and 40,000 credit card numbers. All three porn sites Th3 Consortium has targeted are owned by Luxembourg-based Manwin: Brazzers got hit in mid-February — 350,000 usernames and passwords were stolen — and then came a major hack at YouPorn — a million usernames and passwords were compromised. But the porn network does not seem to be the real target of the attack: the hackers seem most interested in embarrassing government employees who used their official email addresses (for some reason?) to register for a porn site. Foolish government employees beware.

“Article 1, Section 8, Clause 8 of the United States Constitution, known as the Copyright Clause, empowers the United States Congress: ‘To promote the Progress of Science and useful Arts, by securing for limited Times to Authors and Inventors the exclusive Right to their respective Writings and Discoveries,” the lawsuit details, adding:
“Early Circuit law in California held that obscene works did not promote the progress of science and the useful arts, and thus cannot be protected by copyright.”
We hope this claim goes to the Supreme Court so they have to rule on this.
If someone wants to register ShortFormBlog.xxx, go for it. But don’t blame us if you don’t find any actual news there. Really, the fun here is buying a site along the lines of PornHub.xxx and forwarding it to Disney.com.

The Sesame Street YouTube page, allegedly, before it got suspended after an alleged hacking. We’re not posting some of the other images, but word is that an eight-minute-long pornographic video (along with at least one other) was posted on the page before it got suspended.

“Perhaps it will impress on you how sluggishly your pages load to learn that pornography sites download much faster than washingtonpost.com does! Trust me on this. And those sites’ pages are much more ‘content dense’ and have significantly more ‘dynamic’ content and ads than washingtonpost.com, with very little simple text (obviously!). . . .
“By contrast, your site subjects me to a tedious, lumbering stream of browser ‘Waiting for [various] plug-in’ messages and download-progress bars. Meanwhile, my screen remains frozen, so I can’t even scroll through the content that has already downloaded. This seldom happens on the porn sites I frequent.”

» Really? Only 2%? Not that we’re, uhh, experts on online pornography, but 2% sounds really, really low. These statistics are hard to come by, but one site reported that over $3,000 is spent on pornography every minute. We smell shenanigans. And by “shenanigans,” we mean “people lying to an interviewer because they’re embarrassed about paying for porn.” On the other hand, considering how ubiquitous free porn is on the internet, maybe 2% isn’t that low after all.
