This works automatically for super-wide (
3:1) high-res (1000px wide) photo uploads. And theme developers can now style panoramas in Tumblr themes with the{block:Panorama}tag.Panorama by Blaine Davis

There is such opportunity to do cool stuff with this. Tumblr, do a vertical version of this for infographics. Trust me. It’ll be awesome.
