  • 4.3 the magnitude of an earthquake that shook eastern Kentucky today, sending tremors into nearby Virginia, West Virginia, and Tennessee. There are no reports of damage. The quake’s location is of some note — most of Kentucky’s quakes occur along the New Madrid fault, which runs along the western edge of the state. source
