Twitter makes its embeds more awesome, but there's a problem: They still don't work on the Tumblr dashboard. *sigh* Anyway:

To give you an idea of what they look like, here are a few DigitSlam tweets for you guys. 

Any word on when you’ll support these on the dash, Tumblr? It feels like a missed opportunity at this point.

Canadian Evacuation Plane Leaves Libya Sans Evacuees

An evacuation flight chartered by the government of Canada made it into Tripoli on Friday morning, but after its crew was unable to find any Canadians at the chaotic airport, the airplane turned around and left empty.-NYT

It’s hard to be upset with them, considering communication in Libya is probably extremely difficult at the moment, but what a waste of both money and an opportunity to evacuate others in need.
