Kerry Kennedy, Andrew Cuomo’s ex-wife, lays low after DUI arrest
Was sleep medication the cause? Kerry Kennedy is avoiding the spotlight in the wake of a DUI late last week. Kerry, the daughter of Robert F. Kennedy who was once married to current New York governor Andrew Cuomo, was arrested early Friday in Westchester County, NY after her car smashed into a tractor-trailer. Early reports suggested Ambien was the cause — her cousin, former Rep. Patrick Kennedy, had a similar Ambien-induced incident in 2006. Her blood test results will take a week to come back, however. Kerry’s family had been in the news recently; she allegedly had an emotional reaction to the illegal re-burial of her sister-in-law, Mary Richardson Kennedy, which her family only found out after the burial took place. source

  • he said In a January incident, Douglas Kennedy sparked off a “code pink”  when he tried to take his newborn son for a walk. His lawyer, Robert Gottlieb, disputes this: “It is preposterous and absurd to think that any of the nurses thought that Douglas Kennedy, who they knew very well, was trying to steal his own child.” He faces harassment and endangerment charges.
  • they said However, Eliot Taub, the lawyer for two of nurses at the hospital that night, emphasizes that Kennedy was breaking the rules: “They have been instructed as per hospital guidelines that each newborn cannot leave the ward without written permission by medical personnel,” he said. Let’s cut to the heart of this story: Why would a Kennedy steal a baby? source

Arnold Schwarzenegger, Maria Shriver separate: The Kennedys are about to lose its West Coast power couple. The former California governor (best known as a pun-friendly movie star) and his wife (best known for her time with “Dateline NBC”) have been living apart for a few weeks now. “We are continuing to parent our four children together. They are the light and the center of both of our lives,” the couple said in a joint statement, which requested privacy. Arnold has said in the past that the rigors of being the governor of California were tough on his family life, and it shows here. (h/t producermatthew)

There is no doubt he does not remember the critical events. He is not feigning it. It’s not an act. He does not remember it.
SIrhan Sirhan’s attorney William F. Pepper • Explaining that his client, who is up for parole Wednesday, does not remember shooting Robert Kennedy back in the ’60s. Pepper claims Sirhan (not telling you if that’s his first or last name) was ”hypno-programmed” when he fired at the presidential candidate. All of this actually hurts Sirhan’s chances at parole, which require him to be able to show remorse for the crime … uh, that’s kinda tough when he claims he can’t even remember what he did. source (viafollow)
