To be quite honest with you guys, as a fellow editor of the section, we have to overall make it less of a competition. The tag is useless if it’s just one side or the other, or if it seems like it’s just a place where people get their opinion heard. It’s not about numbers or about making your side the winner of the argument. It’s about editing to make the best section possible — something Tumblr at large can be proud of and use as a resource. We tag both liberal and conservative articles, and hope every other editor tries to at least give the other side a fair shake. So, we hear your frustration over here. And your frustration over here. But good editing is not merely making your own voice heard.
