The Lord has redeemed all of us, all of us, with the Blood of Christ: all of us, not just Catholics. Everyone! “Father, the atheists?” Even the atheists. Everyone!…We must meet one another doing good. “But I don’t believe, Father, I am an atheist!” But do good: we will meet one another there.Pope Francis, proclaiming that even non-believers will be redeemed by Christ, as long as they “do good” (not all Christians subscribe to this theory). source
I struggled with it myself for a long time, but I came to realize life is that gift from God. I think that even when life begins in that horrible situation of rape, that it is something that God intended to happen.Indiana Senate candidate Richard Mourdock, diving headfirst into controversy with the above remarks on abortion, just weeks shy of Election Day. Mourdock was asked to explain his views on abortion by a questioner during his final debate against Rep.Joe Donnelly, and Libertarian candidate Andrew Horning. All three of them oppose abortion rights, but neither Donnelly or Horning went quite so far — Mourdock’s policy position on this issue, setting aside his highly incendiary language, is in step with the GOP’s party platform, though not with the Romney campaign’s recent claim of support for rape and incest exceptions. source
I will not take God out of our platform, I will not take God off our coins, and I will not take God out of my heart.Mitt Romney • Speaking in Virginia Beach today. His remarks have stirred up discussion over the implication of the words above – is he suggesting President Obama aims to remove the word “God” from American currency? Romney is clearly ramping up his rhetoric on faith to try to take advantage of the Democrats’ embarrassing platform fracas at the DNC last week. source
Now THIS is a man of God: “Have you ever read the Gospel and heard Jesus say anything about homosexuality? … Black folk can’t even deal with homosexuality because we got issues with sexuality. And because we got issues with sexuality we can’t have a healthy discussion about homosexuality. Why, why do you get so upset?” Find out much more about this here.

Meet Josef Miles: While walking around the Washburn University campus with his mother, Josef noticed a group of protesters from the Westboro Baptist Church. After reading the group’s signs, Miles asked his mother if he could create his own sign. A sign featuring his thoughts on God’s worldview. With the approval of his mother, Patty Akrouche, Josef wrote “God Hates No One” on a notepad, crossed the street, and proceeded to spend a few minutes staging a protest of his own. You da man, Herman. You da man!God • Telling Herman Cain he should run for president — at least according to Herman Cain. In an Associated Press article released on Saturday, Cain said God encouraged him to run for president. God also told Michele Bachmann to run for president back in July and God also apparently supported Tim Pawlenty’s run for president back in April. We’re not entirely sure the above is what God directly said to Cain — if He said anything at all — but we’re pretty sure it’s close. source (via • follow)
Warren Jeffs says something crazy: It’s a good thing God isn’t a judge, or that judge would be screwed.
