They may be about to lose “Toy Story 3” thanks to the bungled Starz deal, but they’re going to get “Shrek” in its place. It’s the first time a streaming service has beat out a major pay-cable network for a movie studio deal.

Here he’s saying that “Ratatouille” was a bad idea that was executed perfectly, but most movies today are focused too much on marketability. That is, producers don’t care so much about the story, they only care about how much money they can make out of it.
