Shooting broke out at the Eaton Center Mall in downtown Toronto nearly two hours ago. Shots were fired in the food court, what one witness described as “12 to 16 shots,” and at least two people have been removed on stretchers. Not much further information is known about the incident or the shooter as of yet — the news of the incident was broken on Twitter by Blue Jays third baseman Brett Lawrie, above. (Update): It’s being reported that one person is dead, seven injured, two of those in critical condition.
