Billie Joe is seeking treatment for substance abuse. We would like everyone to know that our set was not cut short by Clear Channel and to apologize to those we offended at the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas. We regretfully must postpone some of our upcoming promotional appearances.

He was the first artist to decline the award since the Sex Pistols in 2006. Fans booed Rose for not showing up, a decision he only announced last week. But he wasn’t the only absence Saturday — Adam Yauch of the Beastie Boys couldn’t attend due to his cancer, and Rod Stewart (inducted for his time with The Faces) was sick with the flu.
