The Beach Boys make a comeback … in 2012: New single “That’s Why God Made the Radio” sounds like it’d fit right in on the radio … in 1963. The voices sound a little age-worn, but the harmonies are still there. It’s not bad, a tad cheesy, but not exactly groundbreaking. Dear record company — if you want this to become a hit, send this one to the oldies stations, far away from the Lady Gagas of the world.
