Someone hacked into the broadcast signal of Montana television station KRTV and warned viewers that zombies were coming.  Of course, this was Montana, so people knew the zombies would take a while to get there.

“dead bodies are rising from their graves and attacking the living”

We’re dying over here. Soon, we’ll rise from the dead, though, so it all works out in the end.

Anybody else suddenly feel like there’s something that our government isn’t telling us? We don’t recall the zombie apocalypse ever being mentioned when the Obama Administration introduced the National Terrorism Advisory System back in 2011. We’d like to humbly suggest that a “Threat Level Gray” warning accompany any word of a zombie attack from here on out. source

CDC does not know of a virus or condition that would reanimate the dead (or one that would present zombie-like symptoms).
Centers for Disease Control spokesperson David Daigle • Revealing that this weirdness most likely has nothing to do with zombies. Thanks for clearing that up for us, HuffPo.

  • 3.3M number of viewers in the 18-49 demographic the show’s debut had, pretty much tops on cable TV
  • two number of weeks it took for AMC to call for a renewal of the runaway zombie hit source
