Holiday travel is something, isn’t it? A scene from Penn Station. (Repost because Cinemagram screwed it up the first time)

The subway comes back, in GIF.
datanews:

Since Sandy left town, we’ve been downloading MTA subway-recovery maps to feed WNYC’s Changing Trains map. Our Steve Melendez put them together in a time-lapse GIF. Click through to the full-size image.

Great graphic — one that shows the speed of the recovery.

Many who paid the $4.95 to stream “The Rumble” between Jon Stewart and Bill O’Reilly that aired online last night weren’t able to check out the debate dance moves due to internet issues. This morning, O’Reilly responding to the question of refunding those who couldn’t connect said “If you want your money back, it’s going to charity anyway, but we’ll do it. It crashed – the server crashed, we had so many people coming in.”

FTW! The stage is set for San Antonio Mayor Julian Castro to deliver the Democratic National Convention’s keynote address tonight. Castro is the first ever Latino to do so.
[Source: CNN]

It’s the little tiny nod that makes him seem like a great keynote speaker.

It’s official: The Republicans nominate Mitt Romney for President.

All nominating processes should be Gangnam Style from here on out.

Mitt Romney’s Tumblr has never reblogged anyone (except Romney Response, which is paid for by Romney for President, Inc.) They certainly haven’t reblogged one of my GIFs.
Today, the Chicago Young Republicans posted a recruitment video on YouTube that’s also a parody of “Call Me Maybe.” This will probably go viral. A few Chicagoans will probably sign-up to make phone calls for Romney because of the video.
Maybe this GIF of the CJR’s dancing with Romney’s book could be the Romney campaign’s first legitimate reblog?

We bet a $20 donation to the Homicide Watch Kickstarter that Barack Obama’s Tumblr reblogs this first. That’s a challenge, guys.

No response yet: Hey, Mitt and Barack, look at this!

Stumpin’ in the rain! “You know, this feels kind of good,” remarked President Obama, as he opened a speech in the pouring rain outside Richmond, Va yesterday, the congressional district of House Majority leader Eric Cantor.

The president will try to get your vote, even if he has to stand in the rain to win you over.

LOL. As the Romney bus tour rolled through Ohio this weekend, the Obama camp’s latest ad, released yesterday on YouTube, featured Ohioans giving their reacting to Romney’s policies. The consensus in this video: Romney doesn’t get the middle class. Meanwhile, Romney’s campaign continued their Obama referendum strategy releasing another ad overtly stating that President Obama doesn’t deserve another four years based on his first term accomplishments.

That expression is Palin-esque.
