Even the Apple Store: The iconic Fifth Avenue Apple Store, generally a giant cube of glass, looks a little less … glassy today. (EDIT: There was some pre-planned renovation going on, too, but clearly they knew ahead of time that glass and hurricane don’t mix.) Style points for the cover-up, guys. EDIT: Since the jokey prior edit didn’t make it clear enough for our readers, we are in fact aware that the white tarp went up before the hurricane, and was meant as part of their renovation process. But either way — it’s a giant glass building the path of a hurricane. They would’ve had to do something with it.
