Must be willing to create 200 “place cards” using miniature Etch-A-Sketches for a major arts conference. Must be willing to do tedious things for the next month and a half. Must have liberal definition of “art.” Must have very specific strength in turning knobs – emphasized through years of practice with devices such as stereos and car radios. No shakiness allowed. No carpal tunnel – your knuckles must be limber and undamaged by arthritis. Must be willing to agree to insanely complicated task on the hopes that the prestige is enough to make you feel that you haven’t wasted your time. Hey, it’s the recession! Jobs are hard to come by!
