University of Colorado closes research facilities shooting suspect once worked in

A source tells ShortFormBlog that two facilities at the University of Colorado’s Anschutz Medical Campus, which have handled victims from the Friday movie theater shooting, are asking all non-essential staff at two on-campus research facilities to leave campus or avoid the buildings until Saturday. Holmes worked at the facilities as a graduate student, and while he left the school in June 2012, the school is exercising caution until a more thorough search can be done. Holmes’ apartment is just blocks away from the facilities.
