Do these shoes mark where a Titanic victim came to rest? Federal officials say the close proximity of the boots in this photo suggests that they were on a passenger whose remains stayed at the bottom of the Atlantic.

It’s strange to think those boots have stayed in the same place for 100 years, untouched by anything except the elements. This story raises such weird questions.
