producermatthew: CBS Sports’ original report on Joe Paterno’s death failed to source Penn State student-run blog Onward State. This was a screen grab I captured shortly after CBS Sports pushed the story. CBS Sports is now sourcing the Penn State blog. Bad form, CBS. EDIT: Did some backtracking, and it appears that they did link the original tweet from Onward State but didn’t explicitly cite them in the text. Is that enough of a citation?
