The Church is occupying itself with its proper jurisdiction. The Church is saying Patrick Kennedy cannot, as a good Catholic, vote for abortion laws which would increase abortion. Doing so violates Catholic morality so it is within the rights of the Church to bar him from receiving communion. These poll options do not represent reality. This poll is stupid.
