Biz: GM begins its long, crazy trip to screwing over its dealers

  • 1,100 dealers learned today that GM’s not working with them anymore
  • 3,600 number of GM dealerships (out of 6,000) they plan to keep source

    Just another set of jobs that the Internet will do away with. Apart from contractual obligations and the minority of those who aren’t plugged in, there’s no real reason to buy a car from a dealer. Unless you just really like undercoating. Welcome to copy-editor hell, car dealers.

    Being one of the employees of a screwed over dealership, I would like to know how t Obama plans to help us? I have worked there for 15 years and been a very loyal employee. We have been one of the chosen ones due to our location. We meet every criteria they just don’t like where we are. The economy is horrible and there are no jobs out there. Being a single mom with two kids and a mortgage.…what happens to us? They use my tax dollars and I still come out with nothing. Honestly makes me really wonder about the goverment being concerned about the way Americans are going to live now. I will be thinking alot harder next time I go to vote for a president.
